Another question is whether to have the photos processed with borders or full bleed, without borders. The most commonly seen headshots have borders, but full bleed headshots are also acceptable (although some people might consider them to be tacky). The truth is, some borders might actually look better without borders, and it is a personal preference that you should decide on yourself based on what presents your headshot in the best possible light.
